This fall, Circle City Theatre Company is offering an exciting opportunity for high school students (ages 14-18) to hone their audition skills in our 12-week acting class held at Pittsboro Presbyterian Church (95 East St, Pittsboro, NC 27312). With a small class size of just 10 students, participants will receive personalized attention and guidance as they prepare for auditions with confidence.
Meeting once a week on Wednesdays for two hours (5:30pm-7:30pm), students will:
Review essential audition vocabulary, procedures, and etiquette.
Explore a variety of playwrights and learn how to choose compelling audition monologues.
Practice introductions and apply fundamental acting techniques to their selected monologues.
Receive coaching and feedback on three monologues—dramatic, comedic, and classical—to add to their audition repertoire.
The class will culminate in a final showcase, where students can demonstrate their progress and newfound skills for family and friends.

FEES
Fees are $250/month for three months. September's fees are due at registration. October and November installments are due by the first class date each month by personal check or through the APLOS + Stripe donation portal.
Partial and full scholarships are available for qualifying families on a first come, first serve basis.
SCHOLARSHIPS
Families applying for scholarships should download, print, sign and return via email the Scholarship Eligibility Affidavit PDF before completing this registration. During registration, applicants should select the "ticket type" that matches the scholarship for which they qualify (partial or full). Partial scholarship applicants will pay a reduced fee at check out.
